Studio Policy

Tuition Payment

Payment is due before the 1st day of the preceding month. A late fee of $10 is charged for overdue payments. A returned check will be charged a $20 fee.

Private lesson fee is

• $100 (125) / month for a weekly 30 minute lesson.
• $152 (190) / month for a weekly 45 minute lesson.
• $200 (250) / month for a weekly 60 minute lesson.

Students get free 30-45 minute Theory Lab after their instrument lesson to help enhance skills on: Note Reading, Ear Training, Rhythm, Harmony, & History.

• Group lesson: $65/ month for an 60 min weekly class.
• Ensemble/Band: $70/month for a 60 min weekly class
• Theory/Harmony: $25/month for a 60 min weekly class

Missed Lessons

Lessons missed because of illness or emergency will be made up only if the school is informed in advance. Minimum 24hrs and depending on availability of the teachers schedule. Max of 2 make ups per 6 month period.

Group Class: No refunds are given for missed lessons. No credit or make up for Group Lessons.

Music Materials, Practice Time, and Equipment

All students are strongly encouraged to have good quality instruments and metronome for practice at home. Recommend practice time per day is 30 min, at least 5 days of practice is necessary. Music and materials needed for the student will be determined by the teacher on an individual basis and must be purchased by the student through the studio.

Studio Etiquette

Students should arrive on time with all the music and materials. Parents will be responsible for the conduct and behavior of the students during lesson time. Please arrange for students to be dropped off and picked up on time. The studio will not be responsible for any injury, illness, loss, or damages suffered by any person while they are at the site.

Music for Young Children (group of 5-6 students) 30-36 lessons per year

• Sunrise group (2-3yrs old) $54/month
• Sunshine group (3-4yrs old) $64/month
• Sunbeam group (5-6yrs old) $72/month
• Moonbeam group (7-9yrs old) $76/month

Lesson is once per week, last from 45-60 min. Parents are required to participate in class.
